I have had the pleasure of working with Mike for approximately seven years. During that time he supported me and my organization in recruiting to support my organization’s growth expansion in an extremely niche market He was instrumental in identifying and recruiting numerous candidates ranging from entry-level positions to senior, hard-to-find lead role. He has many attributes that contribute to his success in this area, but two that are particularly notable are:
• His ability to work in partnership with the hiring manager to fully understand position requirements (both directly measurable and intangible), as well as to work in a collaborative manner to convince high-value recruits to join the organization.
• His personal interface with potential recruits to make them understand their future value to the company – they feel like they are dealing with a friend, not a faceless cog in a machine. This relationship building allows him to also provide independent insights to the hiring manager as to a candidate’s goals, needs, and long-term agenda, beyond what the candidate may have shared with the manager directly.
Mike has a great deal of integrity and he will always provide an update. His work ethic, drive, and personal interest in the candidates are ideal qualities to track down outstanding candidates that have remained with our organization for years.
