In 1995 Mike Johnson joined one of the Southeast’s premier staffing firms, MSI International in Atlanta, GA. MSI is a large firm with offices in 4 cities. He was awarded Outstanding Rookie Recruiter of the Year in 1995, and Recruiter of the Year in 1996, breaking MSI’s 20+ year billing record.
 

After two years at MSI, Mike started his own firm, Johnson Search International (JSI) in 1998, where he uses his energy, enthusiasm and results driven approach to match employers and candidates with a fit that serves all parties well.  

Mike moved JSI to Tampa, Florida in 2010 to serve the Recruiting Industry. Mike has also lived and worked in the California Bay area. He earned a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Florida.

Mike is joined by his father who has over 35 years of experience in banking and finance. He earned an Economics Degree from Florida Southern College.

Mike is also active with the Tampa Kiwanis Club and an adjunct Professor.
